what they're doing is showing a percentage of household on snap by ethnicity. like out of all afghan household in the census (like 5000 or so in total), 45.6% is on snap. the title is misleading and told the wrong story but that's how the got the number. there are other concerns about how they decide which ethnicity is which because how come Italian is different than white. how do they do that calculation, you know?
