If you have PCOS, you don't want to skimp on protein! 💪 Protein plays many roles in managing your PCOS symptoms. For starters, it keeps blood sugar levels more stable and keeps you feeling full for significantly longer than low protein meals. Getting enough protein can also positively change your hunger and fullness hormones - aka you feel less hungry when you eat enough protein. Plus, we know that protein helps to build muscle mass (especially in combo with resistance training) which can improve insulin sensitivity and blood sugar levels. The amount of protein you'll need will depend on you specifically but most people tend to feel their best with at least 20+ grams of protein per meal. Some of my favorite (and easy!) ways to add protein to your meals: ➡️ canned fish like tuna or salmon ➡️ Greek yogurt or cottage cheese ➡️ frozen chicken tenders ➡️ edamame ➡️ ready-to-eat tofu #pcosdiet #pcosfood #highprotein
