The king in yellow, from what l've heard, is a creature or person from a poem, when you see the king, he instantly floods your mind with all the worlds knowledge, everything that has happened and everything that will happen, the human mind isn't built for that, so it drives people insane. The player probably censored the king so that you wouldn't see it and go insane as well (this also explains why he knew Avery's name, he already knew what would happen, and knew the person that would find his laptop, all he could do was warn Avery)
