@meghannmcuniff: Alicia Andrews is testifying in her own defense in her murder trial today (Friday, October 31, day 8) over Florida rapper Julio Foolio's fatal shooting. Her testimony is the only way the defense can get in evidence about Isaiah Chance physically abusing her, and that evidence was presented within the first 25 minutes in her direct-examination with her lawyer Jeremy McLymont. "Did you know that Charles Jones was going to die on June 23 of 2024?" "No, I did not." Andrews wasn't one of the gunmen when Foolio was shot to death in Tampa on June 23, 2024, but prosecutors say she helped plan his murder, including following him and staking out his locations, and is equally culpable, though they are not seeking the death penalty against her like they are against Isaiah Chance, Sean Gathright, Davion Murphy and Rashad Murphy. Chance was Andrews' boyfriend. Investigators say two gangs — ATK and 1200 — joined forces to take out Foolio, who was a member of the 6 Block gang and a big celebrity in Jacksonville because of his ventures in the dark and violent genre of drill rap, which celebrates violence and mocks death.
