@dr.niloofar.dehghan: Why a nail? Because it’s much more stable than a plate, minimally invasive, and allows for immediate weightbearing. These like to go into valgus and procurvatum. To avoid that, some technical tips are: ⭐️Semi extended position ⭐️Suprapatellar nailing ⭐️Reduction clamps to reduce the fracture ⭐️A more lateral start point ⭐️A more posterior start point (and aim anterior, not posterior) ⭐️Blocking screws (lateral and posterior in proximal segment) ⭐️Uni cortical plates Remember to allow immediate weightbearing!
