This development makes my heart soar and feel like our choice to help her, not because she’s pretty but because to me there was something about her that I couldn’t ignore… and now I feel validated that she was the right choice in saving yesterday… ALLLLL those other horses who were at Bowie yesterday are now gone forever. But she isn’t yet because we said we would try to help. Above is what is remaining to raise for her, to do her rescue right, and keep from taking away from the rest of the TJHH herd. Her fundraiser includes purchase price, transport to and from quarantine, quarantine costs, medications, initial veterinary costs, initial farrier work, supplements, food for a couple of months, but the truth is the funds don’t even stretch far enough to cover this all, but thanks to you all supporting them, the funds we raise make a big dent.
