@tiktokart380: Ozzie Juarez (@ozziejuarez) is a multimedia artist who grew up working at swap meets in South Central Los Angeles. He has created an installation called “Pásale! Pásale! Todo Barato!” with the @artproductionfund for the Frieze Los Angeles art fair at Santa Monica Airport.. The piece recreates a South Central swap meet, complete with a 14-by-6-foot mural and custom gates made by local welders, bridging the cultural divide between South Central and Santa Monica that Juarez observed during his college years. As part of the installation, Juarez will perform as a vendor, encouraging visitors to haggle with him for free items he’s collected from local swap meets over six months, bringing the authentic experience of swap meet culture to the high-end art fair environment. #art #FriezeLA #artist
