If it’s to explore how the dynamic would change, I can forgive it, but only to a degree. Only if they do something creative with it, and not “they get married and have children, white picket fence, every trad wife and trad husband’s dream.” SMH.

the only time i enjoyed it was when a fic had one guy genderbend due to a magic accident and it made the other character realize they liked him and it was just ✨️internalized homophobia ✨️keeping them apart and when he turns back the rest of the fic was them dealing with their feelings. (no i dont remember the name)

No hate, but what if I do it because I don’t feel confident or comfortable writing from a perspective that I am unfamiliar with? Genuinely don’t want to insult any gender with poor writing skills. I just know how I feel in my gender, so that’s what I write from.
