I too am allergic to cats. My husband is allergic as well. We have a rescue cat. When my leg broke in three spots (twice in my fibula and once in my tibia), my cat slept in my broken leg every night, purring. We bonded. I took an antihistamine every night, along with a nasal spray and eye drops. We've had him for five years now.

your system will get used to Mochi with time, im very allergic to cats but i pushed through for my rescues. they are my babies, and now i have 0 problems with allergies around them. but if i meet a new cat other then mine i will flare up like crazy (same for my mom and her rescues, and she as asthma too. other then her cats she cant stay in the room)
