Can you teach me: why you hold the leash for this part and not the harness? Because I thought the harness up means he’s ‘on duty’? Or is harness off completely when he’s considered ‘off duty’?

When my husband and I went through Atlanta airport the TSA agent got mad at her supervisor when he told her she can't take my white cane from me and just pushed me and my spouse through without scanning or putting us down. I mean I KNOW I'm not a bad guy with weapons on me but she didn't? TSA really needs help.

When I went to florida with my service dog, TSA made him go through 5 different times knowing he still had a metal harness on and just having us take things off one by one still making him go through each time until they finally had me take his harness off and including his collar so he had nothing on and they still pay him down😑
