@rheabombay: The number of times people have come at me for the choice we made to help Bambi fight for his life is 🤯 Before anyone jumps to conclusions - Bambi’s birth complications were not genetic. He was born with contracted tendons (a temporary condition that can occur from how foals position in the womb). He did have the additional complication of dummy foal syndrome which contributed to his challenges, but also is not genetic. With splints, therapy, and round-the-clock care, he made a full recovery and now runs, plays, and grows like any other healthy colt. I fully believe in ethical, responsible breeding.
