I hate how people think too hard about what Pochita is. Like, Pochita (which is the name Denji gave to it and it's NOT the actual name) is quite literally the chainsaw devil (fear of chainsaws) and it's ability to erase other devils if eaten is because chainsaws are tools that if used to murder someone would end up making the corpse of such victim an unrecognizable mess.
