Ian LaVertue :
youre only focusing on the form you've taken. Your nature is more than what you believe yourself to be, nobody could fathom the depths of you (yes, you reading this, each and every person). You believe yourself shallow because you faults; everyone has faults. we all have flaws, we're all imperfect, we all hurt, get hurt, cause hurt, we all get sad, but all also feel joy, even in brief snippets. You are not the devil you think you are, you are not only the "bad" things you notice in the mirror. You're human, you're perfectly imperfect, your flaws and short comings give meaning to every advance and change. You're ever changing, yet always the same, You will always be you, no one can take that, can change that, can undo that. You just have the power to shape your self and embrace the whole of your nature, not just the parts you hide under masks and façades. Your pain is not all of you, neither is your depression, your anger, your grief, your rage, or your despair. It's the other half of you, the side you never express out of fear of judgement. It's ok to feel how you do, but those feelings don't define you, they are not all you are, you are more than that. you have always been more than that. and you will *always* be more than that.
