I saw someone who said SNAP should be like HelloFresh/Blue Apron where people are just sent meal kits every week so it isn't wasted on junk that doesn't actually fill bellies.

I am a SNAP recipient and ashamedly so. However, when I applied and to this very moment, I was in dire need to put food on the table for my child. My ex husband had not paid his child support in months, I had lost my job, and I am a T1D. I’ve been trying to get a job and get off benefits for months. Thankfully I use my benefits wisely and I have leftover money but there truly are so many people taking advantage. The most humiliating and humbling day of my life was when I applied for SNAP benefits. I cannot wait to be off of them.

I was at Sam’s & 2 women had a flat bed cart loaded with eggs, bacon, tortillas, sausage and foil I mean several thousand dollars paid for with EBT and told the cashier they made breakfast burritos and sold them at construction sights and they made thousands of dollars a month all cash with free money. Loaded it into a Cadillac Escalade

I work at a donut shop, same lady comes in everyday, has a binder of credit cards and bank account cards, diamonds on every finger and hands me a food stamp card and I looked at her and shook my head and all she says is ‘whoops’ and laughs. I was LIVID not gonna lie.
