My dad passed in 2002. He was tragically taken from us. Everyone else has talked about having dreams or seeing him / feeling his presence. In 23 years I’ve yet to — except for specific times I’ve known it was him in the form of a very large crow perched watching me at our family home as a child all the way up until now when 1 lonesome large crow would sit near my porch 2 hours away, no other bird in sight. I’m an only child so I’ve yearned for his presence in other ways like dreams or “signs” but I’ve found comfort in the crow, especially since it showed up the day I found out I had a miscarriage after not seeing it for a few weeks 🤍🐦⬛

My grandparents and I were driving and saw my mom walking on the side of the street six months after she passed. We all gasped simultaneously. And then sat in silence for the rest of the ride. It hurt so badly.

This happened to me so many times after my fathers murder. I even had dreams of me going places and seeing dads look just like him playing with their daughters and once they turned around it wasn’t him. Then it happened to me in general at work, at family gatherings. Like. I felt so attacked. It was weird. Next year he’s gonna be a grandpa too.

❤️🩹 I almost crashed my car once because while I was turning right there was a man in the opposite traffic turning lane that looked just like my deceased boyfriend in the same car he drove. I swear my heart stopped for a second.

I swear I saw my grandpa randomly walking across the road one day, like not even on a crosswalk, just crossing a random road and I was the only car on it and he walked right in front of me. Still not clear on the reality of that moment lol. Remember it clear as day, though!
