@jessnesham: I think this is an important lesson in a.) not judging based on exterior illusions. The amount of times we’ve nearly lost this house and my car in the last 2 yrs is actually crazy. We don’t qualify for assistance but we’re also drowning in debt and medical bills from our sons death and losing jobs and everything that transpired after that. And b.) remembering that literally *everyone* is only 1-2 bad things away from being here. We used to live pretty comfortably and I don’t even remember what it feels like now to not juggle bills, play the game of “how late can I go” with them or dump things at the grocery store when the number gets too high. I have literal dreams of just being able to pay everything every month with enough left over to help others and maybe take a small vacation. God knows I think we could all use a couple days to detox from the hell we’re living in. If you see this, please follow and share.
