@laura_where_she_lands: How do you feel about dining alone? I leave for my solo Christmas market trip in 25 days, and dining alone is something that comes up on every trip. I used to really struggle with it. I’d skip restaurants I wanted to try because I was so caught up in what other people might be thinking. Eventually I got comfortable with it….mostly by doing it anyway. Making a reservation helped and the more I did it, the less I cared who noticed. Dining alone doesn’t mean being lonely. We went last year to Trier, Luxembourg, Strasbourg and more. A solo traveler was right next us and asked if she wanted to join us. We had the best time talking about which markets we had been too and we gained a new friend. We leave the 28th and we are doing Munich, Vienna, Salzburg and more! We rent a car.
