Ok but how do you get the tape off? I’ve been doing this for 4 years which means I have 4 years worth of that tape now covered in dirt. Cant get it off without peeling the paint.

I have kits that have Velcro. They allow me to open the windows if I need to and they are reusable.

Great idea, my problem is the storm scrren door to my basement. I can feel a draft under it and the threshold is about 4 inches higher than the sidewalk. Any suggestions?
