I would argue that the devil uses it all. He uses the darknesses like Ouji, Tarot, etc., as well as false Gospels, doctrines, and programs that place God in a box and make Him into a genie who grants wishes.

I wouldn't discount astrology, Ouija boards, and other occult things as not being tools of Satan. I would say those are for the low hanging fruit. The prayer of Jabeaz is a much more sophisticated way of getting to Christians that not nearly as rooted in their knowledge as they should be.

I largely agree, *and* I also have family members and friends who have rejected Christianity and now indulge in tarot cards and astrology. I’m not entirely sure why, but there seems to be a desire to embrace spiritualism while centering the self and rejecting Christianity.

Job shows us there are no guarantees (outside of Christ). Our obedience shouldn’t be based on a guarantee because it converts our covenant relationship with God into a transactional relationship, wherein I do for God so He’ll do for me. What happens when He doesn’t? That just means I haven’t done enough.

It’s interesting that the Bible generally forbids actions, like murder, or theft, or adultery, but it doesn’t forbid the actions generally glossed as “witchcraft”. In these circumstances, it forbids the *people* who practice these things instead of the acts themselves.

The prayer of J Baz is not about asking for monetary or physical blessings. Blessings can come in many forms that don’t have to do with money or property or material things. I think this is very irresponsible for him to say.

I need more explanation about the prayer of jeez because there is not demonic linkage within the scriptures concerning that prayer...yes, ppl using it as manipulation...not the prayer itself but how ppl use it. He was speaking well until then. Spiritual manipulation, in and of itself, is demonic. ie, slave owners manipulating scriptures, to fit their narrative, same as some church sects.
