The streetlight dissolving into halos of light bending through sheets of water that never end. The faint static hum of raw 80s synth pulsing in your ears. Each step ripples through reflections of red brake lights, neon pub signs, and the ghostly shimmer of the city’s heartbeat smeared in red and gold across the wet asphalt. Cigarette butts swollen with water, drowned beside slick piles of dark leaves plastered to the ground like wet paper memories. The air smelling of rain-soaked brick and iron, the cold climbing your spine. God this video ignites a primal urge within me to roll around on the ground without care; the rain soaking my clothes until I am no longer seperate from it. I am so lucky I get to call this place my home.
