@logic.the.dobie: Full day of eating while we talk about Oral Hygiene: FEEDING BONES DOES NOT REPLACE BRUSHING! Brushing every day is a nonnegotiable. You heard me, EVERY SINGLE DAY. Just like I read the Bible daily, oral health should also be a DAILY priority. If you lack the discipline to grasp that, it’s something you need to work on. My nearly six-year-old husky should NOT have better teeth than your puppy with freshly grown adult teeth. So, how do you establish a good oral health routine? Step 1: Start with the gut. *I recently began using the @Native Pet GutWell in August, BUT I HAVE USED IT SINCE FOR ORAL HYGIENE!! There’s nothing like it, and I stand by that!* Step 2: Add a water additive to change the environment of the harmful oral bacteria! Step 3: Brush! I prefer using this specific Enzymatic Toothpaste because the enzymes work even if you can’t mechanically brush to remove the soft plaque on your puppy’s teeth, and it’s safe to swallow! Step 4: *optional* a preventive measure. PlaqueOff works by entering the bloodstream and then traveling into the saliva to coat the teeth. THIS DOES NOT REPLACE BRUSHING. Our CURRENT Routine Example: After walkies: give half of his morning water (with additive) and brush teeth. Wait 1 hour (to prevent bloat), then feed and give the rest of the morning water additive.
