Now I just imagine Dave hunting his own food in the nearby forest, moving on from adventurers who are a lot more chewy because of all that strained muscle... One time he catches 2 deer, Dave only needs 1 so he brings it to Gorrim and Hector as thank you for hiring. Hesitant at first but loving it and happily accepting later, best roast in a long while. Dave prefers raw, but the spices? calculated perfection.
