Hear me out God the creator put the ideas in their minds to have this Bible. Even if it doesn’t always make sense. Do not lean on your own understanding. But you should have a “liberal” mind and always pursue the truth because that’s pursuing God. What if you are wrong in your understanding? I don’t think anyone should be 100% stubborn on their belief because it’s a constant pursuit. That’s your responsibility as a God fearing man

The new testament is a revelation from the old testament , you can preach one from an other , Jesus came to fulfill all the laws that the old testament had , 300 to be exact.
