Totally different situation but I was 42 here.. got kicked out and got a divorce but instead of being depressed staying at home I went to Japan for 2 weeks by myself. Had the best time of my life..

You’re never gonna be ready. But I’m so happy for you. I traveled a lot in my early 20s. Im 28 abt to be 29 next month. Lived in Colorado, Delaware, Alaska, Texas and Canada. Went overseas, saw so much of this world. You will definitely learn something from it and you will come back to your home state thinking so differently.
