Money buys everything. Better health, better food, more activities, being able to see the world, the world caters to the rich, etc..

I have been in every tax bracket and I’m in the 1% now and I cant say I’m any happier now than when I was younger and didn’t have money. It definitely solves problems and reduces certain stress but I’m not sure it’s made me measurably happier.

Happiness isn’t 1 thing , there are many different components of your life to be happy about. Money does improve certain parts your happiness but some of that cannot be solved monetary.

I made over $500k / yr and was stressed out at my job. I left and now am so much happier. Even before I left my job I realized the things that made me the happiest were things money couldn’t buy - a strong marriage, good family and friend relationships, good health. My husband makes about half what I did and we still pay the mortgage. Definitely spending less on vacation, but it felt like vacations in the past were me just rage spending anyway.

Money can help happiness. But you have to love and care for yourself first.

Idk if you ever played those survival building games like Minecraft ark survival day z, but being broke with nothing is a grind. Have a little base and some okay loot is when fun is maximized. Being full rich is when fun not only diminishes but actually goes lower than before. The joy of little things is highest with medium/high amount of loot. Upper middle class there is a sparkle to life and you are still part of the real world imo

Money can absolutely buy comfort. I think the ones who say it can’t buy happiness has always been middle/middle upper class lol

I've been poor, and its like being in jail. There is nothing worse. However, being wealthy and spending too much money is just as bad.

Well tbh it they are technically right. But, it does absolutely reduce and eliminate lots of stress. The happiness will increase for a bit, but eventually you’ll just want more.

I think money buys a certain amount of happiness. As a middle class single lady, I can travel and own my own home. but if you have deep seated problems, it will not help.

Maybe in some ways I can but it destroys a lot of people’s lives. A lot of people are good with money or then they have money realize they’re not happy and then they’re like really depressed.

No the biggest lie sold to the middle class is that they should still have essentials in a world where we are paying for what we are not doing ourselves. The second biggest lie is that there is a good form of comfort and a bad form when it's all just comfort, this is why the ai push was made easier by promoting it for more trivial tasks first🤣🤣

It’s also about comfort in life from ailments. It was nice when I was finally able to afford to have two broken teeth extracted. It would be really nice to be able to have teeth put in place so there’s not an empty spot.

The poor do not believe it so it’s no biggie. The biggest lie was telling the poor and middle class that tax cuts for the rich helps them too.
