I don’t judge the superficial in a superficial world. I personally don’t care, but I don’t care if I fit in more, how I look to others and I don’t have a public facing job. Or a corporate position. I am happy I get to be free of it. But I understand some people are not and it doesn’t matter to me what others choose.

No, but this is so real. I am 35. Your body everything slows down in your 30s. I used to be able to work 30 hours straight. I am not lying. I would do a 24 hour shift as a CNA, and then turn around and run an eight hour shift with another job. And then lay down.I would need hospitalized if I did that today.

Young people do not realize that you do not really feel older when you get older. I’m 30 I still feel 25…. You don’t just wake up like “oh ok I feel 30 now”

Don’t let them get to you. When they act up like this, I remember that in my youth the most uncharitable I was to my elders was that I didn’t understand why they cared about aging so much because they all looked great to me. I can’t relate to wasting my youth hating on people, and I’ll always be grateful for it. They will one day see a face they don’t recognize in the mirror and if they don’t reckon with their ageism before then, they aren’t going to handle it well.

I know Im only 29 so this might sound silly coming from me, but for me aging gracefully will be letting my Grey hairs come in, but I want my body and fac3 to not look like I've gone through the ringer

I remember my Dad telling me one hard thing for him in getting older was that your body gets old, but you are still younger you in your mind. I get it now because I'm 41 and my face is starting to not look like my face to me and in my mind, I'm like 24. 😬
