When this happened to me almost 2 years ago, I just cut them off and let them spin their tale. Anyone believing them automatically wasn't worth my time and I cut them off too. I lost a lot of friends, but none that were worth missing in the end. I haven't publicly righted the script to this day, but rather I'm enjoying watching people find out what this person is like on their own. And it's been happening. So far 2 people have been as unlucky as I was. I've just left them all to it. Best way to handle it.

I make comics of my horrible customer horror experiences. I once brought one for my boss to check out after my coworker praised the comics. Later I found a smiley face drawn on ny comic's cover and I knew it was the coworker. I confirmed her and she told me I'll be in troublw for making the comics and "How dare you"
