We should be careful of getting pulled into simple binaries. Neither Socialism nor Capitalism in the extreme work well, and all the examples of success you cited were a mix of both in balance. The extreme of Socialism won't create Utopia, it will remove incentive to work and gridlock innovation with finer and finer monitoring of social distribution without merit or a return on their work results (or profit). And likewise, Capitalists overtime use their profit to maintain their power and hierarchy to enrich themselves and become selfish. It's a balance every individual, company and country must strive for. These are inherently human problems, and without addressing the "dark triad" hidden within the human nature within us all, we externalise responsibility on everyone else and then end up with the same issues once again, never addressing the root cause and instead focusing on "newer external frameworks" or philosophies.
