Cats get quite the reputation of being mischievous troublemakers, but if they’re consistently destroying your furniture and terrorising your home, there could be something else going on aside from their sassy attitude… Here’s 3 common mistakes cat parents make when it comes to cat care : 1- You're not helping them expend their energy, specifically with play. Ideally you're having two dedicated sessions with them per day, 15 minutes each. 2- You're not providing them with scratching posts or other kinds of scent-marking areas. Scratching is a natural instinct for cats and the less you try and find this habit, the better off for you, your cat and your couch. It's good for their physical and mental health and lets them mark their territory.
