bro the man is talking about during the time of prayers. yes in Islam women and men pray in different sections men in the front women in the back sometimes in different rooms depending on the structure of the mosque.the reason for that to keep distractions and protect ones modesty. for example if you have women & men praying together & bowing; kneeling it's easy to get distracted plus the women mostly have to attend to the kids. so it's not about superiority men over women but rather focusing on prayers & serving the God without any distractions
