Per BODY CAMERA- she sure sat in thay chair 🪑 offering no assistance, no pressure to the bleeding wound, not even watching the cameras to let police in- no… they RANG the bell & continuously knocked on the door until a janitor came.

To a reasonable degree of certainty, the AP should have been on high alert with this child since it his parents were required to sit next to him when he was in school. That is unprecedented and should have triggered an immediate response from the AP that day when staff came to her about their observations.

Can we talk about how they keep saying body search when they could’ve just searched his backpack?? If the administrator allowed them to just search the backpack this would’ve been avoided. There doesn’t need to be a parent present for that.

NAW! They had every reason to perform a body search. Even the THOUGHT of a 6yo having a gun is cause TO SEARCH. He is 6 but he had a gun and knew how to use it !!!!!

@PixieDustDreamer 🍋: The assistant principal said she was waiting until the mother got there. If that was the case, then maybe a phone call to the mother should have been made to alert her that there’s a suspicion that her child brought a weapon to school and to perhaps search her property for a missing gun. The assistant principal did not act in good faith and did not do her required duty to protect her staff and student body.

If they were waiting for mom to search the child - the child should have been isolated in a safe room BY himself with a secured adult. He shouldn’t have been allowed to roam freely.

AP went to break up a fight but wouldn’t search a backpack after multiple reports of a weapon. She absolutely just didn’t want to deal with this one kid anymore and wanted to wait for the mom to deal with him
