Yikes…. These comments aren’t it. I’ve been engaged almost a year and our wedding is scheduled for 8/16/26. We talked about it, and picked a time that made sense for us. Yes, you should discuss a timeline, but this whole “six months max” idea is insane to me. I’d rather take my time planning a wedding than rush it just to get it over with.

dont engage me abeg just go straight to marriage and put both rings in my fingers. when I see a bag I love , I will buy it straight, not ask the shop owner to reserve it for some months or years for me. I just my opinion as a woman. I have seen people getting engaged after 4 -5-7-15 years no marriage but 4 kids, no better investment just to end up leaving leaving eachother cuz of silly reason
