for real though! I'm also on disability! I have epilepsy, stress is a major trigger. If I even try to work I risk having a seizure and not being able to afford all of my meds.

Is a nightmare situation…but i 100% agree. I depend on SNAP, it’s how I feed my babies…but I can get help with essentials from family. I cannot get help to pay for my son’s medications that would be almost $700 (only 2 pills, wtf) every month. So as hard as the near future is going to be…I hope to god they don’t give in to the pressure

This may be naive, but I think the Dems know they have to hold the line because it will cement the “you are pointless” narrative to a point they will not be able to bounce back from it, but will be bounced on it.
