Not everyone is going to agree with this idea, and that’s fine. I love it. Bring on the lights, the tech, the big stage, because God deserves our best. The people calling it “too much” or “not real worship” might need to check their hearts.
Worship isn’t about the sound system, the lighting, or the size of the crowd. It’s about surrender, giving honor, glory, and love to the One who gave everything for us. Praise is the outward expression of that love, our joy, our gratitude, and our declaration that He is good. Whether it’s through quiet prayer, a hymn, or a full stadium singing at the top of their lungs, it’s all worship when it’s directed toward Him.
Even if some artists, sponsors, or donors are doing it for the wrong reasons, God can still use it. He isn’t limited by motives. He has used broken people and imperfect intentions throughout history to bring about His purpose. If even one person hears a lyric, feels His presence, or experiences His love through this event, it’s worth it. God can and will use anything to draw people closer to Him.
