America is such a weird place. In Europe the concentration camps are treated as reminders of the atrocities that were committed. Here we look plantations with reverence and appreciation, completely minimizing the absolute horrors that took place on those grounds. To me the swelling music is not beautiful but terrifying.

All the virtue signaling and haters in the comments got me cacklin 😂🤣😂🤣 Oak Alley is absolutely amazing and beautiful and yes carries some rich and also horrid history. It should be appreciated and acknowledged yes but not forgotten or treated as some gang green limb. I hope this place survives for centuries to come and others get to appreciate it as well.
