The point is completely flying over some of your heads. Yana isn’t stopping Lacey from pursuing Kye, she literally tells her to go ahead. The issue isn’t about control, it’s about boundaries. Why would Yana want to stay friends with someone who’s choosing to pursue her ex, the same person who hurt her so deeply that she now has panic attacks just seeing him? Lacey expects Yana to remain her friend while she’s talking to the man who caused her so much pain, and that’s not fair. Cheating changes people. Be honest, would you still want to be friends with someone who decided to get close to your ex, even knowing they hurt you? Absolutely not. Lacey isn’t entitled to Yana’s friendship.
