You left out a really important part of the premise, the female main character’s mother just died, and it was her mother’s bed-and-breakfast. Grief is a big part of what she was going through.

Yes, this was extremely hard to find. It was sold out at my local romance bookstore, so I didn’t have to order it online too, which was a shame because I really wanted to support them.. and I love a romcom where there’s a dog and so all I have to say is epilogue

I agree 500 is typically too long for a romcom but it really does allow you to get to know the characters on a different level. ALSO LOVED THE PASTRY HUNT!!!

It was good but the slowburn way waaaay to slow for me. A kiss didn’t happen till like 400 pages in. It was nostalgic though with it being 90s.

I really enjoyed this so much. It was wholesome, loved the tension, yearning & slow burn and the character development. Cliff was the absolute sweetest in many ways🍰& Huge bonus points for it being set in the 90s as I was born in 1990 myself
