@itvnews: Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue say air fryers need air circulation. Placing them too close to walls or under cupboards can cause overheating and fires. Watch Air Fryers: Do You Know The Dangers? at 8:30pm on 6 November on ITV and ITVX. #itvnews #airfryer
I’ve always pulled mine away from the wall whilst using it! Seemed logical.

Am I the only person who doesn’t own an air fryer or use it ? It’s actually dangerous and harmful for you.

I have it on one of those slidey trays so it can be pulled out from under the cupboard, I think it was £5 on eBay

I thought this was common a thing 😩. I do this with my kettle, toaster and deep fryer while using them. But I guess not everyone is aware. I never leaves these items plugged in either regardless of the socket being in the off position

I’m sorry, but surely that’s common sense. Why would you put something that has extreme heat rising under your cupboards? You can store it under there but you pull it out or move it to another location when using it

Expensive brands doesnt mean they are good, they are expensive sometimes because the brands spend millions on advertising and they put the cost into the product so we the consumers pay for it. Saw it in a documentary ☺️...prefer to go for medium cost things and brands not very well known. So you know they are putting their cost into the product not the advertising.

It's crucial to be aware of how we use air fryers to prevent potential fire hazards. Proper ventilation and avoiding placing them too close to walls or under cupboards can make a big difference in keeping our kitchens safe. Looking forward to learning more in the upcoming segment.
