Proud to be one of the 64% of Yes votes on Proposition 50 in California. I dropped my ballot in a permanent ballot box at the park in my neighborhood. I checked online to make sure it was received. I could have mailed it, dropped it off at a polling place on election day, dropped it off at city hall, or completed it at the polling station. We all should have these options.

The first time I went to Europe, Obama had just been elected. We were in Paris & everyone who realized we were American would congratulate us & want to shake our hands. I never tell people I’m American when I travel now. I just say I’m from LA because they understand Californians are likely to be progressive.
