@kerryinguatemala: You have to eat a shuco when you visit Guatemala City! If you're new here, hola! 👋 I am Kerry and I live in Guatemala City with my husband. He's introducing me to the traditional foods in his country and every week I am publishing a new video about the foods I'm trying here! Shucos are the most popular street food in Guatemala. The best place to eat a shuco is in zona 4 and 5 in the capital (Shucos del Liceo is located on the border of both zones). This is where Shucos are originally from in the capital! There are many restaurants serving Shucos in this area. The one I went to in this video is called Las Delicias and the food was delicious! This shuco cost 30 Quetzales but some with less meat are even cheaper. When you order a shuco you can get it with just one type of meat or many meats like I ordered here. You can also put different salsas on top in addition to what I use here such as ketchup or hot sauce. By the way, I've seen it spelled both shuko and shuco. I'm confused as to why there's two spellings.
