Theory time: maybe Fi or the master sword whatever is inside the construct is not replicating BOTW link but actually replicating Skyward sword link. they both can fly and skyward link is really the only hero of courage Fi actually knew and it’s very likely since this is so far into the past maybe Fi took inspiration from the most recent hero probably which was skyward sword link
