@erinkayyeung: 5:34! I went into this marathon simply wanting to have fun and finish. My training wasn’t ideal, but I hoped to fall back in love with marathon running. Last year, I had one of my worst races and thought I might be done for good. But after spectating this very race for my brother’s first marathon, feeling the emotion at the start line (even as a spectator) I knew I wasn’t finished yet. To all runners (and future runners): no matter your time, be proud when you cross that finish line, and in the moments after. It’s such a beautiful and incredible thing to accomplish 🫶
