I think kindness goes a long way not saying she deserves getting hot coffee thrown on her but working a job like this requires customer service and as a manager you could’ve simply apologized on behalf of your employee she will definitely remember to be kinder and do her job the right way the next time.

I hope that lady is okay. People have sued McDonald’s for the temperature of that coffee causing third degree burns.

She ordered breakfast online to pick up after 10:30 so the system cancelled her order. The refund can take up to 48 hours and she couldn’t understand that. The manager was very nice and respectful. She did not deserve that.
