Exactlyyyy, I’ve also found out that the ‘Know-Nothing’ Party was the exact same way towards German and Irish immigrants during the 1800s. They spread fear, claimed immigrants were ruining American culture, and accused them of being disloyal just because they were Catholic. What’s crazy is that Germans and the Irish weren’t even ‘stealing jobs’ either, they were taking the hard labor jobs most Americans didn’t want, just like immigrants TODAY. HISTORY IS REPEATING ITSELF !!
