Alternatively, as a mom of 7 (3 are adults), sometimes you do the same exact thing with all 7 kids and each of them turns out different, goes through their own phases and stages, etc. While I agree this type of parenting is good… there’s no one perfect way and what works for one kid may not be the best for another.

This💯💯 my ex used to tell me I’m to “easy” on my kids and they were going to end up in juvy like he did because he wanted to scream and “ground” them over any lil thing and I wasn’t with it .. well guess who’s kids made it to 17 & 18 this year without no trouble what so ever unlike most of the kids in this area 🤷🏻♀️they have always came to me no matter what the situation was because they know I may be disappointed but I will alwayssss have their back and be their safe place regardless. And had same rules, don’t care if it’s an adult or not. If you disrespect them expect the same energy back in return but if your kind so are they !

I love my mom more than anything but I feel she has always been well tried to be "in control" even still & I'm 34 yrs old and a mom and wife.

My daughter is in college here in GA but dorms. I was in the hospital ill and she was in Downtown and had tried some things she shouldn’t have. I’m glad we still had life 360 bc she didn’t know where she was
