@the.family.coach: Kids don’t naturally know how to calm down… they learn this skill by watching us. When a parent says, “I need a Time Out,” and steps away to breathe, reset, and manage their emotions, that’s powerful leadership. It takes strength to pause instead of yell, to self-regulate instead of react. And when we do, we’re not just calming ourselves—we’re modeling emotional intelligence, showing our kids that everyone gets overwhelmed sometimes, but wise people know how to pause, breathe, and come back calm. what about a 16-year-old and a 10-year-old that are oil and water and create drama anytime they enter a room with each other? It's very difficult to not get upset and angry trying to get them to stop

No time for time outs, I can even take a shower or go to the bathroom without someone(including my husband) knocking on the door🌺
