@anudi_gunasekara: On the 29th July 2024, I stepped onto this very stage as Contestant Number 5 and walked away as Miss World Sri Lanka 2024 with this crown on my head and purpose in my heart. The journey began with the dream of winning the world, but little did I know that I already had my entire world right here. Representing my country, my people at Miss World and raising our Lion Flag among 108 nations is a feeling beyond words. Being your Blue Water Lily, and showing the world how Sri Lanka blooms gently, gracefully, yet unbreakably has been the most beautiful journey of my life. I am who I am because of my people, and because of my motherland. To my family, my friends, my mentors, and every single person who believed in me I am eternally grateful. To the beautiful soul who becomes the next Miss World Sri Lanka, to my darling Prathibha, this crown will give you a platform, but your heart will give it meaning. Lead with compassion. Stand firm in your values. Never forget that you carry the dreams of millions. I carried this crown with pride, and now I pass it on with love.
