Female customers are way more nuanced than male customers. It’s not fair for female founders to shame customers who have standards who want better materials, less profit driven products /brands, more quality, if female founders can’t deal with the nuances perhaps they should cater for men

I feel this so much. Building something from the ground up already takes courage and then you log on and see women getting dragged for the same things men get praised for. I run my own studio and I see how much heart female founders pour into their brands. It actually hurts watching people get torn apart for trying. More kindness would change the whole space 🫂

This is why I’m so scared of becoming the face of my luxury outlet store. Women who aren’t even my customers would publicly falsely accuse me of selling overpricing my products when they’re below retail. Just because I said “more affordable”. They are literally waiting to pounce the moment you even half slip up. The way they vilified Sophia amoruso. It’s rough.
