@myroyalworld: At home we used to listen to New Edition or see them on TV, but when Bobby Brown went solo, it just hit different. He brought a whole new kind of energy, confidence, attitude, and style. His first solo single Girlfriend dropped in 1986, but it was his second album Don’t Be Cruel in 1988 that changed everything. Songs like My Prerogative, Every Little Step, Roni and Rock Wit’cha turned him into a global superstar. To me, Bobby was the first real bad boy of R&B. He had that mix of smooth vocals and street charisma that nobody else had at the time. He opened the door for so many artists that came after him, from Usher and Chris Brown to every singer who brought swagger into their sound. His follow-up album Bobby in 1992 kept the momentum going with hits like Humpin’ Around and Get Away, showing he still had that same spark. Even later projects like Forever (1997) and The Masterpiece (2012) showed his evolution and love for real R&B. Bobby’s story hasn’t been easy. He’s faced loss, controversy, and a lot of personal challenges, but he’s still here, in good spirit, performing from time to time and staying connected to his roots. What Bobby Brown did for R&B was bigger than just hits. He made the genre bold, fearless, and street. He proved you could sing, dance, and still have an edge. For me, he’ll always be one of the true pioneers. #BobbyBrown #NewEdition #DontBeCruel #MyPrerogative #EveryLittleStep

Yes! He isn’t given enough credit! Honestly Whitney saw how amazing he was and she said it several times. Look up the video when are song Mr Bojangle, a tribute to Sammy Davis Jr. She stepped back in the background, but that voice was still amazing, and allowed Bobby to shine. Bobby really should be studied and honored. He had his troubles but he has pulled through and who can judge?
