my first and only is almost 9 months old. Around 4 months ago my PPD got really intense. I was able to get help and I'm doing so much better now but this was still so good to hear, thank you 🫶

That’s incredible you can stop the car. Mine would wake up as soon as we were slowing down or stationary.

Only problem (or bonus lol) with this is that they may end up like me who then grew up into an adult that will fall asleep in any moving vehicle of I’m a passenger in it for more than 20 minutes 😆

Sooooo agree! 2 under 2 wipes me out and the lack of support during Covid was insane. I wish I could go give her a hug bc she was working so damn hard.

Iit’s so very hard for young mothers in this era. In the past families have had way more support- from grandparents near by, cousins, sisters etc. Our generation(s) have to rely on the tribe that we create - our friends and other moms. But in those early days like you are saying, you feel like you’re absolutely drowning (and mine were 4 years apart!). So joining you to give that past version of you a big hug and and a big high five to the bad ass momma you are now! 🙌🏻👏🏻

After we stopped breastfeeding, I spent months driving my youngest around for hours in the middle of the night because I couldn’t handle attempting to rock him anymore and his crying was painful. The car was safe and calm. It’s still my safe place in a lot of ways!!
